Dear MBM subscribers and occasional listeners,
Hope you have all been well <3
MBM is seeking to change its visual identity and is an open call to all artists out there!
Since the podcast launched in 2020, MBM’s visual identity depicted an idea of two people talking and sharing their stories as Indian Muslims. The visual representation (courtesy Sunakshi Nigam) was a picture of hope and comfort similar to what one feels when looking up to the sky and clouds and not trying to mould one’s view as per others’ expectation.
Over a period of time, MBM has evolved to become a space for diverse voices, stories, and experiences from the Indian Muslim community.
As the podcast has evolved, so should its visual identity.
This is an open call to all visual artists who would like to collaborate with MBM and help in revamping its visual imagery and style.
I am especially keen to receive interests from artists from minority groups, if you would be so gracious to share your time and energies on this.
If you are interested, please write to mainbhimuslim@gmail.com, along with any recent visual artwork. We can then discuss the brief and potentially collaborate together.
Thank you again for listening and supporting MBM. It makes all the difference.
Warmly,
Mariyam Haider
