MBM and Purani Dilli Wala discuss covid relief campaign

Main Bhi Muslim’s host, Mariyam Haider, and the founder of Purani Dilli Walo Ki Baatein, Abu Sufiyan, virtually sat together for a live session to discuss the ongoing covid relief efforts.

The live session hosted on MBM focused on the fundraiser campaign started by Purani Dilli Walo Ki Baatein along with Delhi Youth Welfare Association, to support the most vulnerable across Delhi with emergency medical supplies and food rations. The ongoing campaign is run by their teams on ground to deliver oxygen cylinders, arrange plasma, flow meters, oxygen concentrators and other amenities.

During the session, Sufiyan shared how the fundraiser’s being run, its growing support to other cities and villages, and the fundraiser’s objectives for the coming months. He also highlighted the transparency across their campaign, how volunteers are helping and are being taken care of, how foreign donors can support, and the different ways that the money raised is being used to ensure families and individuals remain safe.

Unlike last year, Sufiyan intends to continue the fundraiser in order to support the rising needs of the rural parts of the country and collaborate with local contacts to provide them with the supplies.
